The Open University’s Knowledge Media Institute (KMi) is looking for a Research Assistant or a Research Associate (depending on qualification) to work on the EU-funded project LinkedUp.
LinkedUp aims to push forward the development of solutions in the area of large scale, Web data management and integration through investigating the critical challenges related to open, distance education with open educational resources from a large variety of sources.
You should have knowledge and interest in the areas of the Semantic Web, data analytics or learning analytics to support the creation of linked data endpoints and applications for the purpose of intelligent, open education. In addition to technical realisations based on Semantic Web and linked data technologies, this will also include collaborating with a large network of European partners, including academic and research institutions, educational institutions and companies in the areas of semantic technologies, technology for education or learning analytics.
