I am currently a PhD student who's thesis title is "Telling Life Stories from Social Media Content".
The approach I am taking looks at identifying and categorising events from a persons social media data.
Given this data, we then look at how we might be able to rank events in terms of how memorable they are for a particular agent, as well as investigate ways we can seek to maximise recall for events by addressing things such as semantic memory, and ordering.
