ARToolKit was the first commercially available SDK for Augmented Reality. Following its acquisition by DAQRI, it has been released Free and Open Source under an LGPL license. The presentation discusses how ARToolKit underpinned the past growth of the AR market, the reasons why it has been open sourced and its plans for the future.
