Content and Context in Digital Photo Retrieval

Most current approaches for image retrieval use either content or context. We are developing an approach to use context as well as content of photographs for efficient and effective search of photographs. The context of photographs is available from metadata, such as EXIF, and use visual signatures for content. Our experiments demonstrate that this approach is more effective than either content based approaches or approaches that may use only metadata. |
