E2B Visitors discuss Flashmeeting licence

Peter Scott, Friday 10 Oct 2003

Visit today from Diane Earl, John Hackett and Phillip Pearce (east of england broadband network consortium) today to discuss the on-going work with CABER and new potentials for Flashmeeting. They have a click-to-meet trial running alongside their big commitment to hardware vc. However, they seemed terribly keen to be *early adopters* for flashmeeting – and became passionately sold on hexagon during the visit.

Result: We will invoice them for caber continuation funds today, and arrange a meeting with their isp (digital brain plc) within the next couple of weeks. Plus (as soon as they know what their budget is for content – end of the month) they have promised to include a *decent slice* for working with us on FM and its friends.
