KMi Roses Win!
Chris Valentine, Friday 14 Jul 2006KMi's 6-a-side cricket team have won this year's competition. Earth Sciences' "Main Boundary Thrust" batted first for a total of 53. Roses won with an over to spare, but also took two wickets, one to a brilliant catch by Dnyanesh Rajpathak (far left). Neil Benn (far right), Roses' captain, also took the award for the competition's highest-scoring batsman.
The sizeable crowds were entertained by the presence of a sound system playing a mixture of Barbadan and Indian music.
