Web Intelligence (WI) has emerged as a new direction for scientific research and development to explore the fundamental roles as well as practical impacts of Artificial Intelligence and advanced Information Technology on the next generation of Web-empowered products, systems, services, and activities.

In this sense, the Web Intelligence scientific conference WI 2010, brings together research fields such as knowledge representation, knowledge discovery and data mining, intelligent agents, social network intelligence against the background of hardware infrastructure changes in the area of wireless networks, ubiquitous devices and data/knowledge grids. The WI 2010 conference will be jointly held with a conference on Intelligent Agent Technology.
