This weekend sees the launch of a new social networking site "Volunteer Passport" for the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers (BTCV). KMi developer Alex Little has been volunteering for BTCV helping to develop and launch the site. The site is based on the ELGG platform and provides ePortfolio facilities for the charities key volunteers, allowing them to record their learning experiences/objectives, courses and skills as well as giving users the opportunity to create new online communities centred around their volunteering activities.
