I am an academic from the Department of Computer Science, University of Waikato, New Zealand. A key output from our digital library project is Greenstone (www.greenstone.org) used by various UN agencies, the BBC and libraries around the world. Our research in recent years has expanded from a dominant focus on textual documents to multimedia forms. I collaborate with Stefan Rueger of KMi and his MMIS group on project work that is the intersection of multimedia content analysis and digital libraries.
