Successful annual project review for PHAROS

The EU FP6 project PHAROS has received the top rating at its recent annual review. After the review meeting held in Oslo at the beginning of March, reviewers gave a rating of "Good to Excellent" and stated "During the second year, the PHAROS project has achieved outstanding results in developing an open platform for audio-visual search and retrieval." Members of the MMiS team at KMi participate in PHAROS, contributing expertise in multimedia content-based search and image/video annotation.
