Maria Vargas-Vera Leaves KMi
Wednesday 22 Nov 2006
Maria joined KMi back in October 2000 when she was appointed as one of two Research Fellows to work on the EPSRC funded AKT Project, of which Enrico is the PI (Principle Investigator). She purposely moved from Mexico to the UK to take up the position. Note however that Maria is very familiar with the British culture, for she studied for her PhD at The University of Edinburgh. Also for a couple of years thereafter, she worked as a Research Associate at Bristol University before moving back to Mexico. She has reached the pinnacle of her research career within KMi. So it’s onwards and upwards as she goes in search of pastures green.
