KMi hosts the first Build A Widget Day
Alexander Mikroyannidis, Tuesday 20 March 2012 | Annotate
KMi hosted the first Build A Widget Day last week, co-organised with the British Institute for Learning and Development (BILD). The event was attended by approximately 12 representatives of BILD member organisations. Alexander Mikroyannidis presented the latest learning tools developed by the ROLE project and introduced participants to the ROLE course available in OpenLearn (see link below). Participants had the opportunity to use some of these tools through the structured learning activities of the course. Additionally, participants were engaged into group activities for designing their own learning tools. The widget designs that were developed through these activities will be implemented in a subsequent code-bash event supported by the ROLE developers community (details to be announced).
