Joint European Summer School on Technology Enhanced Learning

... that was co-organised by KMi was as a huge success! Taking place in sunny Limassol on Cyprus, this 9th summer school attracted almost 80 participants, with lectures given by a line up of the creme de la creme of European TEL research.
KMi opened this intense week of PhD training with a keynote on the Grand Challenges in Technology-Enhanced Learning, offered a tutorial on how to do Learning Analytics in R on cRunch, provided an entrepreneurship training, and recruited guest editors for a young researcher special issue in the International Journal of Technology-Enhanced Learning.
"I'm glad the European Association for Technology Enhanced Learning will make researchers return in September for the annual conference - Cyprus provides a stimulating environment for an intense week of expert knowledge exchange", says Fridolin Wild of KMi, treasurer of EA-TEL and financial chair of the summer school.
