The 21st International Semantic Web Conference (ISWC 2022), the premier international forum for the Semantic Web and Knowledge Graph Community, is currently underway and, as in previous editions, is characterised by a significant participation from KMi researchers.

The ISWC series of conferences is co-ordinated by the Semantic Web Science Association (SWSA), whose Vice-President is KMi’s Harith Alani.

In this year’s edition, KMi is also well represented in the main conference committees, including the Senior Research Track Program Committee (Francesco Osborne), the Research Track Program Committee (Angelo Salatino), the Resource Track Program Committee (Enrico Daga), the In-Use Track Program Committee (Francesco Osborne) and the Poster & Demo Track Program Committee (Francesco Osborne).  KMi-ers are also involved in workshop organization, with Francesco Osborne a co-organiser of the Workshop on Deep Learning for Knowledge Graphs (DL4KG) and Enrico Daga a co-organiser of the Workshop on Musical Heritage Knowledge Graphs. Finally, both Enrico Daga and Francesco Osborne are also session chairs for the Research Track.

In addition to playing key organizational roles, KMi-ers are also presenting new scientific results at the conference, in both the main programme and associated workshops.  In particular, the following contributions will be presented at the conference:

Ratta, M. and Daga, E. Knowledge Graph Construction From MusicXML: An Empirical Investigation with SPARQL Anything.
[Workshop on Musical Heritage Knowledge Graphs]

Chiatti, A. and Daga, E. Neuro-symbolic learning for dealing with sparsity in cultural heritage image archives: an empirical journey.
[Workshop on Deep Learning for Knowledge Graphs]

Angioni, S., Salatino, A. A., Osborne, F., Birukou, A., Reforgiato, D. and Motta, E. Leveraging Knowledge Graph Technologies to Assess Journals and Conferences at Springer Nature
[In-Use Track]

Dessì, D., Osborne, F., Reforgiato, D., Buscaldi, D., Motta, E. CS-KG: A Large-Scale Knowledge Graph of Research Entities and Claims in Computer Science
[Resource Track]
