Three KMi Researchers Listed in Prestigious Computer Scientist Ranking

Kiran Parmar, Monday 7 Mar 2022

We are very proud to be able to announce that three KMiers have been placed into the top 300 nationally of a new prestigious ranking of computer science researchers. The ranking, published by Research.com, is based on a strenuous examination of more than 9,724 scientists on Google Scholar and Microsoft Academic Graph. In particular, the inclusion criteria for scholars to be considered into the ranking of top scientists are based on the discipline h-index, the proportion of the contributions made within the given discipline, in addition to several esteem factors.

Congratulations to Harith Alani, John Domingue and Enrico Motta!

“This external objective ranking is just another indicator of the overall quality of KMi’s research. It is our culture and team-based approach to research where the contributions of academics at all stages of their career (including PhD students), developers, systems and web support staff and professional service staff are recognised and valued. Diversity in all its meanings is a cornerstone for how we operate, and I know that many, many more success stories will follow this latest one.”
