Nancy Pontika, Thursday 13 Jun 2024

On June 11th, KMi hosted the highly anticipated GenAI & Amazon Bedrock Immersion Day, a comprehensive, one-day event dedicated to exploring the transformative capabilities of Generative AI (GenAI) and Amazon Bedrock. With 18 attendees joining us in person and 2 participating virtually, the event was a remarkable success, offering a blend of hands-on learning, expert insights, and valuable networking opportunities.

The event was designed to provide a deep dive into GenAI technologies through a series of hands-on labs and interactive sessions. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in practical labs, applying GenAI across various domains, including question answering, image generation, code development, and entity extraction. Labs encompassed both generative-only models and those employing Retrieval Augmented Generation methodologies. These sessions were crafted to empower participants with the skills and knowledge needed to leverage GenAI effectively in their projects and organizations.

Senior Solution Architects from Amazon Web Services led insightful discussions, sharing their knowledge on implementing GenAI solutions. Their expertise provided attendees with practical strategies and techniques for integrating GenAI into their business processes, enhancing product offerings, and optimizing operations.

The GenAI & Amazon Bedrock Immersion Day provided attendees with a gateway to unlocking the potential of Generative AI. Whether the goal is to acquire deeper expertise, or explore new research avenues, the insights and practical experience gained from this event are invaluable.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of GenAI & Amazon Bedrock Immersion Day. We look forward to seeing how you leverage the power of GenAI to revolutionize problem-solving within your research.

Stay tuned for future events and continue to push the boundaries of innovation with GenAI!
