KMi and FBL researchers present SABRINA AI agent for ethical future-focused decision-making

Tuesday 30 Jun 2026

On 23 June, Audrey Ekuban from KMi and Ruth Dimes from FBL, accompanied by FBL PhD student Tapiwa Muvirimi, presented their prototype of SABRINA (System for Agent-Based Representation, Inclusion, Negotiation & Accountability) to the Responsible AI conference in London.

Ruth, Audrey and KMi’s Enrico Motta have developed SABRINA as an AI agent that aims to encourage organisations to make longer-term, more ethical decisions by considering the perspectives of Future Generations. There was a lot of interest in the project and its potential uses, and the team made connections with several industry contacts keen to collaborate as the project develops. This project was initially funded by an FBL seedcorn grant that led to OSC and HEIF funding.
