Prolearn Summer School 2005, Istanbul Turkey
Peter Scott, Thursday 15 September 2005 | Annotate
The first Prolearn Summer School ran from 5th-9th September this year at the Sile campus of Isik University in Turkey. This brand new campus near Istanbul was occupied by hard-working Prolearn Grad Students even before it had seen its first intake of Turkish undergrads! The School was a great success and was very highly regarded with (nearly 60) participants. All the students reported that it was incredibly hard work... but rewarding! As the links below indicate, the Hard at Work was accompanied by students who were also Hard at Play. Initiating a PhD level community of professional learning researchers was our goal; and we feel that it was achieved in this event. With topics ranging from Learning Objects to Entrepreneurship and exercises ranging from Roadmapping to Interactive Media Interviewing the students were indeed kept very, very busy!
