Revyu.com Shortlisted for Semantic Web Challenge

The Revyu.com team within KMi were notified this week that the site has been shortlisted for the 2007 Semantic Web Challenge. The Challenge is an annual event organised in conjunction with the International Semantic Web Conference series, and each year recognises applications that demonstrate the best of the Semantic Web. A record 23 entries were received this year, with five being shortlisted for presentation at ISWC2007 in Busan, Korea.
Revyu is a reviewing and rating Web site developed within KMi and according to the principles and technologies of the Semantic Web. Using standards such as RDF/XML and SPARQL, and linking with external data sources wherever possible, Revyu is contributing to the building of a Web of data
Of the five shortlisted entries, three challenge winners will be announced at ISWC2007 in November. Time to get Revyuing!
