P-time Research AssociateI am a researcher in Knowledge Mapping for Open Content Initiative at the Knowledge Media Institute. My background is in Computer Science and in Education. I have been exploring strategies for e-learning through mapping for more than 6 years. My PhD research was about Cognitive Cartography - epistemological and communicational interfaces to map knowledge in academic projects. For that, I investigated diverse cartography software (Nestor, CMap and Compendium) in Moodle. Nowadays, I am interested in mapping techniques through Compendium to improve collective building of knowledge in open learning
Keys: Information network, argumentative structures, cognitive cartography, collective building of knowledge
