Research FellowDuring my time at KMi I focused on building a new generation of applications and tools that exploit the large scale semantic information available online. Within the context of this research line, I investigated methods for ontology selection, ontology evaluation, dynamic ontology matching and background knowledge based relation discovery (Scarlet). I also supervised three PhD's on topics related to this paradigm: multi-ontology question answering (AquaLog), ontology evolution (EVOLVA) and semantic enrichment of folksonomy tagspaces (FLOR).
