Chris Valentine, Wednesday 12 January 2000 | Annotate
Sixteen head teachers came from Hammersmith LEA as part of a course on ICT developments in schools. Their course is organised by John Davitt, a journalist, who writes for the Guardian and other publications.
The event in KMi was led by Professor Tom Vincent and Dr Peter Whalley. The head teachers were given an overview of R&D in KMi which was followed by presentations and discussions about developments in local schools and the CLUTCH Club Scheme. The visit ended at Heronsgate School where they met the ICT Coordinator, Mr Neil Robinson, and met a number of children engaged in a range of curriculum activities using ICT.
