ROSTRA Wows Vienna ProLearn Meeting
Chris Valentine, Wednesday 9 Jun 2004
KMi members Dr Kevin Quick and Chris Valentine flew to Vienna Sunday to present the ROSTRA news dissemination system to other members of 'ProLearn', a network of excellence for professional learning. The meeting focused on issues of integration and dissemination. The prospect of including some aspect of News and the KMi Rostra system into the Prolearn network seemed to be a useful idea.
Kevin also showed FlashMeeting to Till Becker and Alexander Karapidis of the Fraunhofer Institute. Flashmeeting is already being used by the KMi led Workpackage-2 on interactive media for regular bi-weekly pan-European working meetings. All Prolearn partners were invited to use the technology to expedite their own meetings.
