VMworld Europe 2009
Wednesday 25 Feb 2009
Robbie Bays is attending this year’s "VMworld Europe" conference in Cannes. VMworld, organized by VMware, primary purpose is to share and discuss their advances in virtualization with thousands of industry professionals and experts.
KMi runs many virtual servers within our SAN environment, and VMware’s latest developments promises to bring huge benefits to our infrastructure.
This year will see the emergence of vSphere – VMware’s latest "all encompassing" software for deployment and administration of virtual systems. This is anticipated for release later this year, and will effect the way both users an administrators use virtual systems.
I look forward to bringing back the ideas and that have been presented at VMworld, and I’m very optimistic that KMi’s virtual infrastructure will reap the rewards of the new technologies available.
