SWS Students Retreat to the Mountains
Barry Norton, Sunday 15 March 2009 | AnnotateThe STI Semantic Web Services Winter Retreat was held in Mösern in the Tirol area of Austria last week. KMi's Barry Norton was project coordinator and a tutor on Semantic Execution Environments and other tutors delivering Semantic Web and Services content were Graham Hench, Jacek Kopeckı, Katharina Siorpaes, Dumitru Roman, Ioan Toma, Nathalie Steinmetz and Mick Kerrigan. The week included hands-on as well as theoretical sessions and invited talks by Christian Huemer, Patrick Maué, Pierluigi Plebani and Monika Solanki. A social afternoon was spent skiing and snowboarding in nearby Seefeld.
