I work as part of the Admin team led by Jane Whild, as well as working on communications for the MK:Smart project and for the KMi lab in general. This means I get to work alongside lots of lovely, interesting people in KMi, and I liaise with the project's partners too. These include staff from Milton Keynes Council, BT and the University of Bedfordshire.

My work in comms ranges from writing news and content for websites, monitoring and contributing towards social media, and suggesting layouts for leaflets and publicity materials. I also enjoy attending KMi and MK:Smart events.

I started at KMi in January 2014, with a view to taking on responsibilities related to Business Development, which I look forward to getting my teeth into.
