I was a research visitor to KMi in the summer of 2007. I have finished my Ph.D. studies in 2000 and currently I have got whole-time job as a teacher and scientific assistent on Brno University of Technology (Czech Republic), see: http://www.vutbr.cz/?set_lang=1.

I am interested in illuminating engineering (lighting theory, lighting systems, luminarires, lamps...), computer technology, computer modelling and simulation (especially power electric system circuits), information systems, etc. On KMi I'd like to learn more about Artifical Inteligent Sytems, especially Expert systems. I'd like to find any existing and functional empty system (as Expert system shell) for application in lighting system design area. Then I'd like to try fill it by some testing knowledge data. Next step should illustrate utilization of the ES in a routine engineering work during lighting system design.

So, my work here is more about the AI application than about designing any new system.

I'd like to improve in english too :o)
