MK:Communities
App for managing and scaling-up community based care
The App MK:Communities is the result of a collaboration with the Woughton Community Council, the SME Spirocco and the Knowledge Media Institute. The project was funded by the first Open Call of the H2020 GATEKEEPER project with a budget of £45k.
MK:Communities enables all users to request and provide support to their neighbours. Users are organized in communities, managed and regulated by a local council.
The App has being piloted in Milton Keynes, in the area of the pertinence of the Woughton Community Council https://www.woughtoncommunitycouncil.gov.uk/news/mk-communities-launch/
