The Open Universitys Knowledge Media Institute (KMi) is a distinct research unit within the Faculty of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). The unit seeks an experienced Project Secretary to support the delivery management of two projects funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF): ICT Escalator and CityLabs.
You will work as part of the KMi Administration team, reporting to the KMi Business Development Manager. You should be adaptable to the unique environment and demands of a high-profile research laboratory, which requires a degree of flexibility and initiative to cope with fluctuating workload and non-routine activities.
Having agreed clear objectives and well-defined guidelines and boundaries within which to work, you will be required to prioritise and schedule tasks and to exercise judgement and initiative in discharging your duties, liaising with the appropriate networks to ensure timely dissemination of information.
