The Knowledge Media Institute (KMi) is a distinct research unit within the Faculty of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) at the Open University. KMi is looking for a Research Assistant or a Research Associate to work on the project Analytics For Everyday Learning.

The AFEL Project is an innovative EU funded research project with 5 partners from the UK, Germany, Spain, and Austria. Its goal is to identify the features that characterise learning activities within social contexts that traverse the Web and use these features to assist the user in the improvement of their knowledge and skills. The project is heavily user-centric, it draws the majority of its data from the learners experience with platforms and learning resources.
