The role
This position is for an experienced software developer on the Research and Innovation Software team (RIST) in the Knowledge Media Institute. The team develop software for a range of research projects using a variety of technologies and programming languages, focusing on cutting edge and innovative design.
Skills and Experience
The role holder will undertake full-stack software development, including creating and managing databases and using Linux environments. The applicant will also need to plan, create, test and deliver software components. Given the changing requirements of working in a research lab, the applicant will be required to learn new skills and capabilities in short timeframes.
The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent experience in computing.
