The Open University’s Knowledge Media Institute has an opening for a Developer position to undertake work on an EU-funded project FOSTER.

FOSTER builds on the experience of the Open University in (1) aggregating millions of open access articles (CORE project) and (2) the delivery of state-of-the-art eLearning solutions. FOSTER is an international project of 12 partners, which aims at raising awareness, practical knowledge and skills in open access and open research data issues, and promote the open access culture. The Open University is responsible for the design, implementation and delivery of an eLearning platform.

You should have solid skills in Web development and interest in working on a project that supports the idea that research outputs and data should be freely available on the Internet for access and re-use.

You will work as part of a team and there will be opportunities to further develop your technical skills.
