My PhD research focuses on the role that interactive web broadcasts play in enhancing distance learning students' sense of community, engagement and learning within STEM modules. My research uses a mixed-method approach to observe live and recorded broadcasts, interaction data logs and audience polling responses (widgets) from the StadiumLive platform.
