Lifecycle Support for Networked Ontologies

NeOn is a 4-year long flagship project funded by the European Commision's 6th Framework Programme. The Open University is its co-ordinator, and the project includes leading institutions from Europe in the area of knowledge modelling and ontologies.

NeOn aims to dramatically improve the support for ontology engineering, by developing both a reference architecture and a concrete toolkit supporting the ontology engineering lifecycle. Specifically, NeOn aims to be the foundational...
